Beauty: Urban Decay's Naked Palette; REVIEW!

Hello lovelies! How are you all? So today I will be reviewing yet another Urban Decay goody: the Naked Palette! I know I am ages late but I will still write about this regardless because I have been dying to get my hands on this.

It came in a box like so. See more information about this product below:

I'm sorry if you can't read the ingredients but if you guys are interested about the ingredients just let me know on the comment box below.

The palette contains 12 eyeshadowsㅡincluding matte, satin, shimmer and sparkle which are all neutral in tone.

I have read that the old Naked Palette came with the eye primer potion but Urban Decay revamped its Naked 1 and slipped in little pods of samples instead. There are four podsㅡall different primers.

I like shadows with names because it's convenient to refer to. My favorites so far: Half-baked, Smog, Darkhorse, and Creep! (sorry for the bad lighting)

The case got me leashed! Look at that packaging, guys! It's just so beautiful! It's velvety and it looks like chocolate. Who doesn't like velvety chocolate? I am down for the packaging!

I am in love with most of the shadows in this palette even though they don't match well with my skin tone. The shadows have earthly neutral tones great for light natural and night event makeup. The only thing I don't like about this palette is that the shadows are sometimes chalky. But no worries, they don't chalk when you apply them. They only do when you drag your brush on the pan.

I was a little disappointed when I did the swatches because they weren't that creamy and they were a little chalky. But when I did my eye makeup with these babies they were awesome! That is, if you apply a primer. The colors don't show that much without primerㅡespecially if you're tan like I am.

This palette comes with a dual-end brush however I have seen Naked palettes with dual-end eye pencilsㅡI am still not sure if you can opt for that or if it depends on the retailer; I have no idea. The dual-end brush is a full size one and the bristles are pretty soft. They hold shadows decently although they often slip my gripㅡmaybe because it's metallic.

I honestly don't like the crease brush because it's too dense for the creaseㅡI prefer something slim and tapered. I can blend with it but I just find it too compact to blend without smudging the shadows.

The eye shadow brush is pretty decent although I only use it to apply darker shadows on my outer V because it's small and flat. I might use this to pat concealer on blemishes as well.

I am liking the primer so far. They really complement the shadows!

I bought this palette online at Macy's for $54 (free shipping for purchases worth $50+). They even slipped in perfume samples, super nice!
